New Mornin' Workout

This workout is more Cardio try it for 1 week and then double it the next week. Then incorporate the first morning workout with the push-ups and sit-ups.

5 - 7 mins Jump Roping

8 min abs or 400 crunches

This is a quick 15 mins. workout to help jump start your day. And remember to drink a glass of water and stretch before workingout.

A Healthy Mid-Morning Snack

Invisible PB & J

5 pitted prunes
1 oz. lightly Salted Peanuts

This is a great snack! It's got the good fat; fiber (to keep ya regular); and a great taste. In fact it tastes just like Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich with no bread. Mmmmmmm PB and J.

The Morning Workout

Stretch 10mins

4 sets of pull-ups 10-15 reps

4 sets of push-ups 20-25 reps

4 sets of sit-ups 50 reps (hold the last one for a ten count)

If you do not have a pull-up bar you can use weights for the pull-ups. This workout should help to start up your today and put a pep in your step.

Go look at google's earth, somebody's watching you! This is a cool mapping program in which you can fly from space to any location on the earth right from your desktop. The Healthy Half- Blog-002


Hello, yes it been awhile, I know. Well let me give you a short recap:

ths - 001 : We talked about throwing away or scales
ths - 002 : We discussed motivation

Ok now we're motivated and now we know how to weight ourself now tell us where we’re at Jay so we can follow along? Well I said my start date would be Monday 1/2/06 and that is when I started my quest to a six pack in ’06 but really to get back to my healthy half.

Week 1: Week 1 was a kind of bad week in that it consisted of me finishing off all the food that was in house in proportions. I was eating serving size measuring all the food that I was eating. I also was sick and now Me-saj is sick. We decided to fast for week 2.

Week 2: The Master Cleanse!? It’s a fast, no eating. I hate it. It’s hard to do. It works. This gets the body ready to start anew, next week fruit and vegetables.
